The business world is changing and talent has become a core differentiator. In order to be successful, businesses must use new strategies to find, engage and source their workers – whether they are full-time employees, contingent workers or external service providers.
According to Ardent Partners' 2016-2017 State of Contingent Workforce Management report, the size of the contingent workforce is continuing to grow – accounting for nearly 38% of all workers in 2016, up from 29% in 2011. Almost two thirds of organisations are rethinking how work is addressed – ranking it as the top adaptation strategy currently being deployed in the shifting business and talent engagement environment.
The report, based on an industry-wide survey of business professionals, serves as a guide to adapting to the 'new world of work'.
